| Canada's newest territory, Nunavut, is the perfect place to head if you're looking for something beyond the conventional golfing experience. During Iqaluit's annual Toonik Tyme festival, golfers can tee off on a unique course built from the sea ice covering Frobisher Bay. In July, you can take advantage of the 24-hour-a-day sunlight at the all-night Midnight Sun Golf Tournament on a homemade course where rugs from the homes of Kugaaruk's residents form the "greens". Nunavut also hosts an annual edition of the Peter Gzowski Invitational Golf Tournament, which benefits literacy programs across Canada. For more info click here |
| In July, the town of Kugluktuk hosts the Coronation Gulf Annual Golf Tournament. This weekend competition is played on one of Canada's most northerly 18-hole golf courses. |
